Microbiota-generated dietary metabolites and their role in the modulation of gut microbiome in inflammatory bowel disease.

| Sumario: | In addition to roughly 1800 different phyla and 40,000 different species of bacteria, humans' gut microbiomes also contain archaea, fungi, protists, and viruses. The gut microbiome has links to several aspects of human health and illness. The interaction between the host and the microorganism is symbiotic and interconnected. Our review article will demonstrate the impact of the human microbiome on host health and dysbiosis. In addition, we will discuss the metabolic pathways of several essential dietary components which contribute to the modulation of dysbiosis and the potential outcome of inflammatory bowel disease. |
