| Sumario: | People who can communicate effectively with the people around them are more successful in their social, educational and professional lives. In this study, it was aimed to examine the communication skills of the students of the Faculty of Communication in terms of gender, department, class and GPA variables. This study is a cross-sectional study from quantitative general survey models. While the students studying at the Faculty of Communication of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University constitute the universe of the research; The sample consists of 440 students selected by simple random sampling method from this population. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the participants, there was a difference between Communication Principles and Basic Skills and gender (t= 3.88; p< .001) and again between Active Listening and Non-Verbal Communication Skills and gender (t= 4.10; p< .001). A significant difference was found. On the other hand, it was seen that the department and the class did not cause a significant difference on the communication skills of the participants.
