Sumario:In the 1-st experimental group (12 rabbits), the muscle flap being brought with the nerve-vascular bundle from the massete muscle had a trophic effect and substantially slowed down the tissue destruction processes. It is characterized by progressive muscle weakness with dystrophic muscle pathology and currently has no known cure or treatment. In the 2-nd experimental group (15 rabbits), following myoplasty with the use of AG, there was formed a strip of the loose connective tissue between the buccal muscle and massete muscle flap which contributed to the rapid invasion of the trigeminal nerve axons to the innervated muscle.
