This article details a literature review that was undertaken to identify, critically appraise and thematically synthesise findings of UK qualitative studies exploring parents' perspectives of their child's transition into adult learning disability services. Findings from eight articles suggested that the transition process is emotional and challenging, with parents often reporting that they felt vulnerable and judged by adult service professionals.
