ab: Professional idealism involves teachers embracing higher values in their educational roles. Idealistic teacher behaviors positively impact other organizational behaviors in both classroom and school settings. This research aims to explore the connection between teachers' professional idealism, organizational socialization, and their levels of organizational adaptation, as well as to ascertain how much professional idealism and organizational socialization contribute to predicting organizational adaptation. Employing a relational survey model within the quantitative research tradition, this study involved 488 teachers from various disciplines in Düzce's public schools. An easy sampling technique was applied. Data were collected using three distinct measurement tools. The results indicate a positive and significant correlation between professional idealism and organizational socialization. Additionally, there are significant positive relationships between professional idealism and organizational adaptation, and between organizational socialization and organizational adaptation. Professional idealism and organizational socialization together are significant predictors of organizational adaptation, accounting for approximately 22% of it. Recommendations based on these findings include continuing supportive educational policies to maintain professional idealism and providing adequate managerial support to teachers during their organizational socialization, which are crucial for facilitating smoother organizational adaptation.
