Despite not finding echoes of the Italian author, this section will serve to explain the origin of the vindication of his Menorcan identity, which is an aspect that links with the literature of Quasimodo. In the second and third part of the study, the influence of Quasimodo in the second and third literary stage of Ponç Pons will be analyzed. The analysis will therefore be diachronic and with a comparative perspective. L'objectiu d'aquest treball és estudiar la influència de la poesia de Salvatore Quasimodo en l'obra de Ponç Pons. El treball es divideix en tres parts. En la primera, s'analitzaran les influències literàries del poeta menorquí durant la seva primera etapa poètica. Malgrat no trobar ressons de l'autor italià, aquest apartat ens servirà per explicar l'origen de la reivindicació de la seva identitat menorquina, que és un aspecte que lliga amb la literatura de Quasimodo. En la segona i tercera part de l'estudi, s'analitzarà la influència de Quasimodo en la segona i tercera etapa literària de Ponç Pons.
