| Sumario: | The article focuses on the importance of the semiotic perspective in the computing of signs and the development of databases that can be used in designing flexible applications such as automated composition and machine translation. The research includes two aspects: a theoretical one that reviews the manifestations of semiotics, and a practical one that presents a model for building a syntactic database for the Arabic language. The study recommends the necessity of invoking semiotics in the automated processing of the Arabic language to overcome the challenges faced by current software applications. |
