| Sumario: | Excessive polypharmacy in the elderly carries a high burden of drug‐related morbidity and contributes negatively to the environmental impact of health care systems. The aim of the project was to evaluate the outcomes of implementing the STOPPFrail tool within a mental health service for older people (MHSOP) inpatient setting in a population of patients with dementia. The authors demonstrate that the STOPPFrail guidelines can be implemented to help to overcome barriers to deprescribing. |
