It is in the sphere of language and communication where it is proper to speak of reason or logos, which also mean word. SR It is associated with plurality, secularization and historicism; it is alien to monism in its various expressions: monotheism, monolinguals, monarchy, etc. It is a kind of post metaphysical rationality, distinct and alien to absolute knowledge. It means a decline (end?) of the primacy of the subject and of theory: situated reason entails a crisis of logo-centrism and a decentralization of truth. Se distinguen distintas formas o niveles de la "razón situada" (RS): Lo situado de la razón significa que el logos es temporal y mundano: inscrito en un espacio histórico y cultural determinado. El método respectivo es interpretativo y analíticodescriptivo; corresponde a la comprensión de singularidades. Es en el espacio del lenguaje y la comunicación, donde cabe hablar de razón, de logos, que significa también palabra. La RS se asocia a la pluralidad y la secularización; es una racionalidad posmetafísica, distinta y ajena al saber puro o absoluto.
