Sumario:One Za'abeel is a double-towered mixed-use complex in Dubai that includes a luxury hotel, wellness-oriented hotel, branded residences, and apartments. The complex features a dramatic cantilever that breaks the record for the longest occupiable cantilever in the world. The towers are connected by a 750-foot-long column-free expanse filled with bars and restaurants. The design incorporates clean glass curtain walls, a subtle lighting scheme, and nods to local cuisine and culture. The structure was built in sections and hoisted into place over 72 hours. One Za'abeel represents a sophisticated take on tall buildings in Dubai and showcases the architectural prowess of Nikken Sekkei.
