This financial stronghold leads to an immense number of burdens on the country. Hospitalizations and nutritional deficiencies are evident repercussions of this epidemic. Malnutrition commonly affects children from one to five years old. The hospitalization rates for Brazilian children under the age of one increased in 2011 by 51%. As of 2021, there were 113 hospitalizations for every 100 live births. Brazil's National Health Services recorded an average of eight daily hospitalization due to malnutrition in 2021. Several things can be implemented to help combat malnutrition. Brazil has significant potential to increase its agricultural productivity and plant nutritious foods.
