| Sumario: | The article discusses the importance and role of the KAZTEST system in determining new directions and priorities of the language policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, increasing the status of the Kazakh language as the state language. Language policy involves complex processes and has both clear and open and hidden mechanisms. Scientists call language testing a hidden tool for achieving government and political goals related to language. According to the concept of development of language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029, if civil servants are required to take tests in the Kazakh language, the social value (prestige) of the state language will increase, which, in turn, will expand the area of distribution of the language in the official, official sphere. Full command of the Kazakh language by civil servants not only provides communication opportunities for employees, but also creates conditions for the full use of the Kazakh language in all spheres of life. This approach will help the Kazakh language become a real tool of communication in society. Real and material motivation to study the state language will appear. It is associated with such social factors as a high position in society, professional growth, and belonging to a prestigious group. In addition to these issues, the article analyzes the statistical data of KAZTEST test takers, the opinions of test takers and the goals of the developers, the structure of the test, the theoretical foundations and the relationship between the concepts of language testing and language policy. В статье рассматривается вопрос о значении и роли системы КАЗТЕСТ в определении новых направлений и приоритетов языковой политики Республики Казахстан, укреплении статуса казахского языка как государственного. Языковая политика включает в себя сложные процессы и имеет как ясные и открытые, так и скрытые механизмы. Ученые называют языковое тестирование скрытым инструментом для выполнения государственных и политических задач, связанных с языком. Согласно концепции развития языковой политики в Республике Казахстан на 2023-2029 годы, если всех государственных служащих обязать сдавать тестирование по казахскому языку, социальная ценность (престиж) государственного языка повысится, что, в свою очередь, расширит ареал распространения языка в официальной, служебной сфере. Полное владение казахским языком государственными служащими не только предоставляет коммуникативные возможности работникам, но и создает условия для полноценного использования казахского языка во всех сферах жизни. Такой подход поможет казахскому языку стать настоящим инструментом коммуникации в обществе. Появиться реальная и материальная мотивация к изучению государственного языка. Оно связано с такими социальными факторами, как высокое положение в обществе, профессиональный рост, принадлежность к престижной группе. Помимо этих вопросов, в статье проанализированы статистические данные тестируемых КАЗТЕСТ, мнения тестируемых и цели разработчиков, структура теста, теоретические основы и взаимосвязь понятий языкового тестирования и языковой политики. |
