Sumario:	This section offers news briefs on U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) decisions and issues associated with psychiatric treatments as of May 2024. The FDA has approved Rejoyn for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) symptoms. Results of a study showed the effectiveness of lumateperone as an adjunctive therapy to antidepressants for the treatment of MDD. Another study showed the efficacy of BPL-003 benzoate salt formulation of mebudotenin for treatment-resistant depression.
