| Sumario: | This article describes a case of breast cancer post-surgery. During the outpatient chemotherapy, oral mucositis and hair loss caused by chemotherapy drugs led to anxiety, which led to the motivation of nursing care. During the nursing period from February 1st to April 30th, 2021, data were collected through direct nursing, observation, interview, medical record review and social software interaction. The evaluation was based on physical, psychological, social, spiritual levels and combined with human figure drawing evaluation. Analysis established health problems as anxiety, oral mucositis and physical and mental image disorders. The intervention included: using Swanson's caring theory to establish a good relationship between nurses and patients; taking the initiative to care and accompany patients; encourage joint participation in care plans; teach stress relief, oral care and methods to cope with hair loss and appearance changes; introduce cases to share experiences; strengthen positive attitudes and self-confidence, and successfully complete chemotherapy. It is hoped that the human figure drawing evaluation approach will be promoted to the cross-team discussion in the hospital, so as to quickly grasp the patient's problems, enhance the nursing consensus, and promote the nursing results into the family-centered nursing model, so as to improve the quality and effectiveness of nursing.
