| Sumario: | This article discusses a study conducted in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, which examined internet addiction among school-going adolescents aged 13-19 years. The study involved 602 students and used an Internet Addiction Test (IAT) and a self-reported questionnaire. The results showed that a significant number of students experienced issues related to internet use, with older students being more at risk. The study also found a correlation between owning a personal device for internet access and internet addiction. The findings suggest that social communication and frustration may contribute to internet addiction among adolescents. The study highlights the need for further research and effective interventions to address this growing concern. |
