        This paper deals with one of the most important phenomenon in mediaeval Italian literature : the interlacing of philosophy and literature. In order to do this, Taddeo Alderotti's Etica in volgare, a vernacular version of the Summa Alexandrinorum (a summary of aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics), is analysed through the main themes occurring in it -- the presence of images, the tension between the Aristotelian man as a political animal and the ascetic man from the christian tradition, and the citizens depicted as « artifices » -- and through its influence on Guittone d'Arezzo and Dante.
        Cet article tente de décrire un phénomène majeur et constitutif de la littérature italienne au Moyen Âge, à savoir l'entrelacement entre parole philosophique et parole littéraire. Pour cela, l'Etica in volgare de Taddeo Alderotti, une version en langue vulgaire de la Summa Alexandrinorum (abrégé de l'Éthique à Nicomaque d'Aristote), est analysée dans ses traits principaux -- l'utilisation des images, la tension entre l'homme politique d'Aristote et l'homme ascétique des chrétiens, et les citoyens identifiés aux « artifices » -- et dans sa diffusion chez Guittone d'Arezzo et Dante.
