| Sumario: | This paper proposes and discusses a class planning for high school education that focuses on artistic-literary works, integrating the subjects of English and Art. The analysis emphasizes the need to integrate linguistic, literary, and artistic knowledge for the attribution of meaning and citizen participation in social practices mediated by such texts. Based on the Language Arts competencies proposed by the Brazilian Common Core National Standards and on the relevance of interdisciplinary teaching, the article presents teaching objectives, justifications for the selection of the proposed texts, and a sequence of activities with guidelines and suggestions for the teacher. In conclusion, the benefits of interdisciplinary teaching to promote critical and conscious experiences of aesthetic appreciation and meaningful learning of discourses involving artistic-literary works are highlighted. Este artigo propõe e discute um planejamento didático para o Ensino Médio que focaliza obras artístico-literárias integrando os componentes curriculares de Língua Inglesa e Arte. A análise ressalta a necessidade da integração de conhecimentos linguísticos, literários e artísticos para a atribuição de sentidos e a participação cidadã em práticas sociais mediadas por tais textos. Partindo das competências previstas para a área de Linguagens na Base Nacional Comum Curricular e da relevância de um ensino interdisciplinar, são apresentados os objetivos de ensino, justificativas para a seleção dos textos propostos e uma sequência de atividades com orientações e sugestões para o professor. Conclui-se apontando os benefícios de um ensino interdisciplinar para promover experiências críticas e informadas de apreciação estética e aprendizagens significativas dos discursos sobre obras artístico-literárias. |
