| Sumario: | This article details the evolution of network semantics in computer networking starting with software-defined networking and the evolution to intent-based networking (IBN). The article presents an overview of IBN with a focus on the intent life-cycle. Then security vulnerabilities are discussed including attacking the intent fulfillment and intent assurance. Lastly, a current state of IBN security is examined including natural language-based IBN and network policy composition. |
