Sumario:A study published in the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging explores the potential of STING-targeted PET imaging in monitoring tumor immunogenicity in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients after chemotherapy. The study uses a novel PET tracer called [18F]FBTA, which demonstrates higher specificity and sensitivity compared to conventional [18F]FDG. The research findings indicate that [18F]FBTA accurately reflects the impact of different chemotherapeutic agents on the immune activity of CRC tumors.
