The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between screen exposure and aggression orientations of 36-72-month-old children. The research is a descriptive research in quantitative design. The study group of the research consists of 456 parents in the city centre of Istanbul who have children between 36-72 months of normal development, attending a preschool education institution, coming from a full family and who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. In the study, "Personal Information Form" was used as a data collection tool to obtain socio-demographic information about 36-72-month-old children and their parents, "Screen Exposure Questionnaire" prepared by the researcher to obtain information about children's screen exposure, screen type, screen exposure time, time of day, etc., and "Aggression Orientation Scale for 36-72-month-old Children" to determine their aggression orientation. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a low level positive and significant relationship between the duration of screen exposure and the total and sub-dimensions of aggression orientation. The type of screen used by children affects their relational aggression towards others. The increase in children's daily screen time is effective on their aggression orientations. At the same time, it was determined that children who did not have rules/supervision in screen use had more aggression orientations. As the age of children increases, the duration of screen use increases, they prefer different screen contents, and with whom they watch/play screen use varies. As the daily screen exposure time of children increases, physical aggression towards others, relational aggression towards others, aggression towards oneself, aggression towards objects/items and general aggression orientations increase.
