The deal marks a renewal of the relationship that began in 2001, when Crichton moved, in a deal reported to be worth $50m, to HC from Random House. Roisin McAuley, author for Headline of the well-received novels "Singing Bird" and "Meeting Point," is moving to Time Warner in a two-book deal worth a good six-figure sum. Ivan Mulcahy of Mulcahy & Viney has signed up novelist Richard Gwyn.
