In guideline-based interviews, care advisors from Berlin care support centers were asked about changes in their clients' need for advice in the first two years of the pandemic. The results were evaluated using a qualitative content analysis according to Mayring. It was found that complaints about contact restrictions were expressed particularly frequently. Family caregivers seemed to be particularly burdened, because of the discontinuation of support services such as day care or short-term care and the lack of appropriate emergency structures.
