Sumario:The article discusses programs and policies addressing perinatal mental health crisis at the national, state, and local levels in the U.S. Initiatives at the population level aimed at improving the quality of care for perinatal individuals and their newborns and infants, the perinatal psychiatry access programs being implemented by states, and the benefits of the behavioral health model called collaborative care model (CoCM).
