For this, a documentary and bibliographical methodology is used, with a post-positivist epistemological approach, which resulted in the setback of Venezuelan legislation in terms of consumer protection, leaving a situation of uncertainty for both users and service providers, making necessary a renewal of the standard. El artículo tuvo como finalidad un estudio sobre la protección al consumidor en la legislación venezolana en los contratos de adhesión de suscripción a proveedores de contenido en Internet, a los fines de conocer las obligaciones de estos, para garantizar el cumplimiento de la norma por parte de estos.
