El artículo de la Revista Kiru se centra en la modificación de la denominación del ejercicio profesional de los odontólogos en Perú, cambiando de "AEO" a "AMEEO". Se destaca la autonomía del odontólogo en su práctica, la importancia de la comunicación ética con el paciente y la regulación legal de la profesión en el país. El Congreso aprobó unánimemente esta modificación, excluyendo la participación de otros profesionales de la salud en el acto médico. A pesar de la aprobación del Congreso, el Poder Ejecutivo observó la normativa, lo que implica una revisión adicional.
