The movie was chosen through the purposive sample method because it effectively portrays significant aspects, including the impact of the landlord’s power on social life on society, commodification of women, representation of religion and clergy, struggle for rights against the landlord, customs, traditions, and social norms. The goal of this study is to conduct a critical analysis of the way "Kibar Feyzo" engages with the dynamics of social class, conventional norms, and gender roles prevalent in Turkish culture, within the framework of Marx's ideological perspective. Discourse analysis techniques are utilized in the study to provide support for ideological critique. The present study aims to enhance comprehension of Turkish society and cinema through the facilitation of a more robust exchange between Marxist theory, ideology, and movie studies. Additionally, it seeks to provide novel insights within the realm of social and cultural studies. Therefore, it is anticipated that this study will make a significant scholarly contribution to the fields of Turkish cinema and Marxist criticism literature. It aims to position "Kibar Feyzo" not only as a source of enjoyment, but also as a piece of work that interrogates, critiques, and offers alternative viewpoints on social and economic frameworks. Bu çalışma, Atıf Yılmaz'ın yönetmenliğini yaptığı "Kibar Feyzo" (1978) filmini Marksist ideoloji perspektifinden incelemektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, "Kibar Feyzo" filminde işlenen Türk toplumunun sınıfsal dinamiklerini, geleneksel normlarını ve cinsiyet rollerini, Marx'ın ideoloji yaklaşımı çerçevesinde eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirmektir. Çalışmada, ideolojik film eleştirisi ile eleştirel söylem analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Film, ağanın toplumdaki etkisinin, kadınların ekonomik değer olarak algılanmasının, din ve dini liderlerin toplumsal rollerinin, sınıf çatışmasının ve toplumdaki gelenek ile göreneklerin temsili açısından amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın, Türk toplumu ve Türk sinemasının daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunarak, Marksist teori, ideoloji ve sinema çalışmaları arasındaki ilişkiyi güçlendireceği ve toplumsal ile kültürel çalışmalar alanına yeni perspektifler sunacağı öngörülmektedir. Çalışma Türk sineması ve Marksist eleştiri literatürüne katkı sunarken, "Kibar Feyzo" filmini yalnızca eğlence aracı olarak değil, aynı zamanda toplumsal ve ekonomik yapıları sorgulayan, eleştiren ve alternatif perspektifler sunan bir eser olarak değerlendirmeye olanak tanımaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda “Kibar Feyzo" filminin sınıf çatışması, cinsiyet eşitsizliği, dinin toplumsal işlevi ve ideolojinin toplumsal varoluş üzerindeki etkisi gibi temaları işlediği tespit edilmiştir. Film, kapitalist toplumun çeşitli yönlerini ve toplumsal dönüşümü savunan bireylerin karşılaştığı engelleri tasvir ederek Marksist teorinin temel ilkelerini ve eleştirilerini ortaya koymaktadır.
