Sumario:	The article argues for the facilitation of equitable research access for people living in care homes, with reference to an interview study which explores the underrepresentation of care home residents in research. It calls for advance planning for the research participation of care home residents and stresses the importance of addressing barriers to involving residents in research. It encourages priority setting exercises and co-design and partnership for an inclusive care home research.
