Indicated in the findings was that, while problem solving and curiosity were greatly encouraged through the selected books, there was little emphasis placed on divergent thinking and growth mindset in the stories. New understandings and insights were provided through the findings of this study into how problem solving, divergent thinking, curiosity, and growth mindset in books can be encouraged for young readers.
