| Summary: | Privatizations and the liquidation of various public institutions were essential to the acceleration of the neoliberal transformation in Turkey in the 2000s. In this context, this article examines the unity of anti-privatization struggles, encompassing both working-class and white-collar workers. The study uses a newspaper survey and a literature analysis to evaluate worker protests based on their repertoire of actions, the discursive construction of demands, the similarities and differences of class strata, and the construction of the collective trajectory of privatization protests. The research reveals how the protests influenced the formation of the working class and privatization policies.
