Through an ultrabaroque aesthetic, poetic violence, and multimedia and transmedial procedures, Angélica Liddell confronts the neocolonial structures and dynamics of power that generate the subordination, bestialization, animalization, and dehumanization of the migrant subject. By implying the becoming monstrous, marginal, and abject beings, Liddell's work constructs a form of resistance and search to overcome the barbarism inherent to the practices of late capitalism and its globalization of the market.
