Sumario:Background: Research continues to evolve on the long-term effects of a SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 infection, including the symptom of dizziness. Vestibular rehabilitation has been recommended to treat the symptom of dizziness post-COVID-19 infection once the patients' symptoms are stable. Vestibular input assists gaze stabilization during head movements, and vergence disorders may also contribute to the symptom of dizziness. Case Series: The purpose of this case report series is to demonstrate the need for interprofessional collaboration in the treatment of patients post-COVID-19 infection, specifically in the presence of persistent dizziness. This case series reviews two patients referred to physical therapy secondary to their complaint of dizziness post-COVID-19 infection and their oculomotor findings during their vestibular evaluation that initiated a referral to optometry for further medical work-up. Conclusion: This case series further supports the need for a team approach to patient care when a patient presents with the complaint of dizziness post-COVID-19 infection. Unaddressed visual dysfunctions may impede vestibular progress, and unaddressed vestibular dysfunctions may impede progress during oculomotor training in the treatment of dizziness post-COVID-19 infection.
