| Sumario: | In this article we aim to study the sources we can use to reconstruct the biographies of those accused of sodomy in the Kingdom of Valencia in the Modern Age; the problems faced when dealing with the material from the "sodomite" archive; the possibilities of applying different methods such as small-scale analysis and prosopography as well as reporting on potential uses of both the source and these methodological tracks through the case study. En este artículo pretendemos estudiar las fuentes de las que nos podemos servir para reconstruir las biografías de los acusados de sodomía en el Reino de Valencia en la Edad Moderna; las problemáticas que se encaran a la hora de afrontar el material del archivo "sodomita"; las posibilidades de aplicar diferentes métodos como el análisis de escala reducida y la prosopografía, así como informar sobre el uso potencial tanto de la fuente como de estos senderos metodológicos a través del estudio de caso. |
