The article aims to emphasize the porosity of cultural borders in France in the first half of the 17th century, through the figure of the intellectual, translator and prioress of the monastery of Sainte Praxède d'Avignon, Juliana Morell, originally from Barcelona. At the same time, his journey Paris-Lyon-Avignon and the influences of the different currents of thought he received in his youth and in his adult stage are analysed.
