| Sumario: | Introduction: Care is the essence of nursing, applying it to a sick or healthy individual requires a long and complicated process, requiring the professional to direct the patient's restoration, conservation and self-care. Faye G. Abdellah's theory is not limited to caring for the sick, but includes caregivers, seeking to maintain and achieve physical, psychological and social balance, a theory that affirms that nursing is an art and science that allows shaping attitudes, skills theoretical and intellectual capacity. Objectives: Analyze the nursing care process in Teaching Care Units. Methods: Quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional research, carried out in the city of MachalaEcuador, with a census sample of 95 nursing professionals, the survey was used to investigate the nursing care process. Results: There is a predominance of the female sex 76.84%, with third level 55.78% and 21.05% with a master's degree. 100% did not receive information about Faye G. Abdellah's theory during their academic training, but they did receive information about Virginia Henderson 97.9% and Callista Roy 2.1%. Conclusions: There was a predominance of female nursing professionals, graduates, aged between 46-55 years and 6-8 years of work. All nursing professionals know about the PAE and the 5 stages, most consider that the diagnosis is based on the axis, achieved through the history presented by the patient, that the approach of the PAE is multidisciplinary. Although none of them in their academic training received information about Faye G. Abdellah's theory (21 nursing problems), almost all of them state that Virginia Henderson's Theory is the best to meet the patient's needs and a small group considers Callista Roy's. Introducción: El cuidado es la esencia de enfermería, aplicarlo en un enfermo o individuo sano requiere de un proceso largo y complicado, exige al profesional encaminar al restablecimiento, conservación y autocuidado del paciente. La teoría de Faye G. Abdellah, no se limita a cuidar al enfermo, sino que incluye cuidadores, buscando mantener y alcanzar un equilibrio físico, psicológico y social, teoría que afirma que la enfermería es un arte y ciencia que permite moldear actitudes, habilidades teóricas y capacidad intelectual. Objetivos: Analizar el proceso de atención de enfermería en las Unidades Asistenciales Docentes. Métodos: Investigación de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal, realizado en la ciudad de Machala-Ecuador, con muestra censal de 95 profesionales de enfermería, se utilizó la encuesta para investigar sobre el proceso de atención de enfermería. Resultados: Existe un predominio del sexo femenino 76,84%, con tercer nivel 55,78% y 21,05% con maestría. El 100% no recibió información sobre la teoría de Faye G. Abdellah durante su formación académica, pero sí de Virginia Henderson 97,9% y Callista Roy 2,1%. Conclusiones: Predominó del sexo femenino en los profesionales de enfermería, licenciadas, con edades entre 46-55 años y 6-8 años de trabajo. Todos los profesionales de enfermería conocen sobre el PAE y las 5 etapas, la mayoría considera que el diagnóstico es basado en el eje, logrado mediante el historial que presente el paciente, que el enfoque del PAE es multidisciplinar. Que ninguno en su formación académica recibió información sobre la teoría de Faye G. Abdellah (21 problemas de enfermería), casi todos manifiestan que la Teoría de Virginia Henderson es la mejor para suplir las necesidades del paciente y un pequeño grupo considera de Callista Roy. |
