| Sumario: | Community college student characteristics are changing, as an increasing number of traditional college students enroll in community colleges with the sole intention of transferring. This trend can place stress on a college, and perhaps the most effective way to manage this change is to study and understand who current students are. Findings from this national study of community college students reinforces the trend that the community college student body is being somewhat polarized by traditional college students and the non-traditional community college student. |
