Sumario:This article examines the challenges of developing intellectual abilities in children with mental retardation, describes an approach to periodometric analysis, and calculates rhythm indexes for each frequency range. An increase in β‑HF signal power in leads T3 and T4 from 10% to 80% was observed. In addition, when the numerical value of the signal power of the β‑HF rhythm in leads FP‑1 and FP‑2 decreased, a direct relationship with an increase in this indicator in the θ rhythm was seen.
