Her book Cartas de cuarentena showcases a letter exchange between the filmmaker – residing in Barcelona – and the cultural journalist Lilian Contreras Fajardo – residing in Bogotá – sharing their experiences in confinement, whilst debating gender equity and feminist beliefs in response to the pandemic. Landertinger Forero's documentary project and work in progress, Ellas, yo, nosotras, emphasizes the existence and plurality of the female as the centre of the film. This film makes visible women from Spanish-speaking contexts that responded to Landertinger Forero's call – i.e., to share photos or videos made at home during lockdown and answer questions about their experiences in confinement in different roles and conditions. Thus, this article analyses the (auto)biographic nature of both cultural productions, and how they can be understood as epistolary spaces for women's agency and dialogic testimonies.
