In doing so, our work retraces the ground-breaking role that initiatives such as the Collettivo Anguane, the Collettivo Intersexioni, and the animal sanctuary Ippoasi, have played since the mid-2000s in opening spaces of commonality across genders and species. These spaces of co-habitation have shaped tangible forms of resistance 'outside' the Anthropocene and its divisive mindset by ushering in 'everyday utopias' – places in which new mental cartographies and sustainable practices intertwine.
