| Sumario: | The article presents "The Poet with a Thousand Turns," a work directed by Anne-Pascale Pouey-Mounou and Silvia D’Amico, which explores the reception of Homer and the translation of his epithets during the Renaissance. The collection, composed of various essays, addresses the linguistic and poetic challenges faced by European humanists, as well as the Neo-Latin and vernacular translations of Homeric works. It highlights the rich documentation and the different mediations that have influenced the rewriting of Homer’s poems, while emphasizing the importance of these translations in the linguistic and cultural context of the time. The volume concludes with a reflection on the contemporary reception of Homeric works, revealing the transformations in their interpretation over the ages. L'article présente "Le poète aux mille tours", un ouvrage dirigé par Anne-Pascale Pouey-Mounou et Silvia D’Amico, qui explore la réception d'Homère et la traduction de ses épithètes à la Renaissance.
