ab: Vitiligo, as a cosmetic problem, is a source of great embarrassment to people. Vitiligo one of a multifactorial chronic skin disease clinically present as chalky white depigmented macular spot anywhere on the skin due to deficiency or loss of melanocytes.[ 1] Here is a case of Vitiligo from the R.B.T.S Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital Outpatient Department treated by Individualised Homoeopathic Medicine. The case was followed up over a period of 2 years with marked improvement in white patches which is evident from the photographs. Nosodes acts as an intercurrent remedy, after prescribing similimum (Sulphur), it initially seemed to cure the case but after a span of time, the indicated medicine ceases to do good. Thus, to remove this obstruction, Tuberculinum as an INTERCURRENT REMEDY was prescribed which worked wonder and cured the case within a short period of time.[3]
