Cracking down on fake nurses to protect professional identity: People who say they are nurses if they are unregistered will soon feel the full force of the law in a move that is helping to address fraudsters.

It will become a criminal offence for people who are not registered as a nurse to mislead the public by using the title, under new measures confirmed by ministers.
