Sumario:The article reports that South Africa-based Juta Gariep Publishers has sold its school textbook publishing list to Nasou Via Afrika, a division of the Naspers Group, granting Nasou a limited right to use the Juta imprint in the school textbook market. Juta has been experiencing turbulent times, closing 13 of its 17 book-shops in July and paying an out-of-court settlement in a case brought by New Africa Books against its trade imprint, Double Storey, for unfair competition.
