A total of 60 infertile couples (30 intervention, 30 control) with sexual dysfunction were included in the sample. Each couple in the intervention group received sexual counseling in three separate sessions based on the PLISSIT model. It was found that sexual counseling given to infertile couples using the PLISSIT model positively affected their sexual function and sexual satisfaction.
