| Sumario: | Dreams serve as profound reflections of the subconscious mind, often revealing suppressed emotions, unresolved conflicts, and individual sensitivities. In homeopathy, where the goal is to perceive the patient's holistic state and prescribe based on the totality of symptoms, dreams hold a significant place--particularly in understanding the mental and emotional plane. While Samuel Hahnemann emphasized the importance of individualization and mental symptoms in Organon of Medicine, later stalwarts like Kent, Boger, and Sankaran further developed the role of dreams as crucial indicators of the patient's inner world. This article explores the interpretative value of dreams in homeopathic case taking and prescribing, categorizing them by theme--fear, anxiety, sexual imagery, symbolic, and recurring patterns--and linking them to remedy pictures. It also highlights the correlation of dreams with underlying miasmatic expressions. The practical use of dream rubrics in repertorization and their contribution to differentiating similar remedies is discussed. Through illustrative examples and clinical insights, the paper underscores that dreams, when peculiar, persistent, and emotionally charged, serve as key individualizing symptoms that guide homeopaths toward accurate remedy selection. Understanding and integrating dreams into classical and modern methodologies can significantly enrich the depth and precision of homeopathic prescribing.
