In 3 patients, topical corticosteroids were applied to the lesion and one patient was injected with intralesional corticosteroids. Photographic records and follow-up of the cases were made. Results: All patients achieved complete healing of the lesions after the application of corticosteroids in a period of 3-6 weeks. Discussion: In the context of wounds with hyper granulation tissue, corticosteroids offer a beneficial intervention by decreasing chronic inflammation and reducing excessive angiogenesis. In addition, they can decrease pain and facilitate healing of the lesions, which makes them a valuable tool in these cases. Objetivo: Observar y registrar la evolución de quemaduras con tejido de hipergranulación tratadas con corticoides. Materiales y Método: Se analizaron 4 casos clínicos de pacientes quemados con tejido de hipergranulación, en los cuales se aplicó corticoides tópicos sobre la lesión a 3 pacientes y se inyectó corticoides intralesionales a un paciente, se realizó registro fotográfico y seguimiento de los casos. Resultados: Todos los pacientes lograron cicatrización completa de las lesiones posterior a la aplicación de corticoides en un período entre 3-6 semanas. Discusión: En el contexto de heridas con tejido de hipergranulación, los corticoides ofrecen una intervención beneficiosa al disminuir la inflamación crónica y reducir la angiogénesis excesiva.
