روابط الاستثناء ودلالتها على النفي بين النحو العربي ونظرية ( جيانا كيدو الدلالية ).
The study shows that the use of exception links in Arabic is confined to contexts or constructions, indicating the non-occurrence of an event (anti-veridical situations) according to Giannakidou’s Semantic Theory related to the occurrence of an event (the (non) veridicality approach). These words ar...

These words are closely associated with negation contexts or constructions that are emphatic in discourse. The reason for this close association is that these words carry the meaning of negation and signify it on their own without needing any additional part in their context or construction to assist in indicating it. These words are used in their bare form as standalone words that denote negation by themselves, without the presence of a negation tool in the context or construction in which they appear. The research arises from the absence of contemporary studies, specifically on the significance of the tools of exception for negation, despite the references to this significance in ancient linguistic studies. Both ancient and modern studies were satisfied with mentioning the general concept of exception. The research will determine the source of negation in the style of exception in light of Giannakidou’s Semantic Theory through the descriptive and comparative approaches based on ideas discussed in this theory. This will help us reach the source of the significance of negation in the style of exception, which we believe requires further research and more study. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: Arabic refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y custom: Copyright of Arab Journal for the Humanities is the property of Kuwait University, Academic Publication Council and its content may not be copied or emailed to multiple sites without the copyright holder's express written permission.
