| Sumario: | The research entitled Popular Connotations of the Popular Drawings for In One Thousand and One Nights consists of four chapters. The first chapter contains research related to the popular drawings within the book One Thousand and One Nights and directed from the House of Life. The researcher summarized the problem by answering the following question: What are the connotations of popular movements for the layouts for In One Thousand and One Nights? And one night?, I also discussed the importance of the research and the need, summarizing that it sheds light on those shots and planning to the popular ones that had not been studied previously. As for the goal of the research, it was to know the connotations of the popular colors of the plans to go to on the night of the Thousand and One Nights The researcher touched on the limits of his research, which are objective limits that were limited to those popular drawings of illustrative layouts in the book One Thousand and One Nights issued by Al-Hayat Library for Printing and Publishing in 2016, the second edition. He also dealt with defining terms linguistically and terminologically, then defined a procedural definition of a title. As for the second chapter, it dealt with a study entitled A historical overview of the illustrations in One Thousand and One Nights As for the second section, it was entitled Features of the Popular Illustrative Diagram. The researcher found several indicators, which he considered a tool in the analysis. As for the third chapter, the researcher addressed his research population of 79 diagrams and chose 8 models with images based on the indicators in the analysis, in addition to observation as a tool. He monitored the meanings of popular illustrations, adopting the descriptive approach using the content analysis method, then he analyzed the sample samples and reached several results, including: using the symbol in drawing, such as the handkerchief in love stories and the apple with its mythical and sensual meaning\drawing in a funny caricature style.\relying on the black and white technique.\ Interest in depicting dress and its class differences\ Depicting scenes of love, jealousy and romance. He also drew several conclusions, including: Emphasizing planning rather than colors for commercial and marketing reasons.\ The popular painter was faithful in matching the literary text with the plastic text due to his keenness and conscious knowledge of nights.\ He used perspective sparingly due to his lack of artistic capabilities. Among the suggestions are: Studying the characteristics of popular illustration in heritage books. \ Study of the aesthetics of popular plastic arts and their cognitive impact in clarifying the contents of books. The recommendations included: teaching popular culture in academic curricula. Then the appendices mentioned the sources and references, and translated the research summary into English and the title.
