| Sumario: | A valuable source for studying Ivan Franko’s liter ary and publishing activities are his lifetime publications, which are kept in the Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts of the Scientific Library of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Today, these publications represent almost a third of all of Ivan Franko’s lifetime works. Their content makes it clear that these works are diverse in genre: stories, poems, dramatic works, comedies, fairy tales, historical memoirs, historical and scientific articles and essays, literary criticism, letters, prologues, etc. The available copies show that the writer, as an author and as a compiler, published independently or through private individuals or public organizations in various cities and publishing houses, such as Lviv, Kyiv, Kolomyia, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Rostov-on-Don, and St. Petersburg. Most of these works are part of various publishing series: «universal library», «international library», «scientific library», «literary and scientific library» and others. The bibliographic and bibliographic analysis of Ivan Franko’s lifetime publications in the RKR Department of the National Library of Kyiv National University testifies to the sufficient informative, scientific and literary potential for studying the writer’s life, creativity, and publishing activities.
