Summary:Objective: To translate the Surgery Task Load Index(SURG-TLX) into Chinese and validate its reliability and validity, while employing network analysis to examine the structural relationships between SURG-TLX and the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). Methods: The Brislin translation model was adopted for forward and back translation of SURG-TLX, followed by cross-cultural adaptation through expert panel discussions and a preliminary survey. From October 2022 to May 2023, 639 surgical healthcare professionals from five tertiary grade A hospitals in Changzhou city were surveyed to assess the scale's reliability and validity. Results: The Chinese version of SURG-TLX consisted of six items. The scale-level content validity index(S-CVI) was 0.920, while item-level content validity indices(I-CVI) ranged from 0.800 to 1.000. The Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.886. The test - retest reliability was 0.801. Scores from the Chinese SURG - TLX showed a positive correlation with NASA-TLX scores(P< 0.001). Network analysis revealed strong associations between "mental demand" and "task complexity" in SURG-TLX, whereas "mental demand" and "physical demand" were closely linked in NASA-TLX. Conclusions: The Chinese version of SURG-TLX demonstrates good reliability and validity, making it an effective tool for assessing surgical task load, particularly in measuring task complexity, intraoperative distractions/interruptions, and situational stress among surgical healthcare professionals.
目的: 对外科手术任务负荷指数量表(SURG-TLX)进行汉化和信效度检验, 并使用网络分析方法对SURG-TLX 和美国国家 航空航天局任务负荷指数量表(NASA-TLX)的结构进行分析。方法: 采用Brislin 翻译模式对SURG-TLX 进行翻译、回译, 通过专 家组讨论和预调查对量表进行跨文化调适。2022 年10 月--2023 年5 月, 选取常州市5 所三级医院的639 名外科手术医务人员进行 调查, 检验量表的信效度。结果: 中文版SURG-TLX 共6 个条目, 量表水平的内容效度指数为0. 920, 条目水平的内容效度指数为 0. 800~1. 000。中文版SURG-TLX 的Cronbach's α 系数为0. 886, 重测信度为0. 801;中文版SURG-TLX 得分与NASA-TLX 得分 呈正相关(P<0. 001);中文版SURG-TLX 中脑力需求和任务复杂性关联性较强;NASA-TLX 中脑力要求和体力要求关联性较强。 结论: 中文版SURG-TLX 具有良好的信效度, 能够针对性测量外科手术的任务复杂性、手术中的分心或干扰、医务人员的情境压力 等, 可作为外科手术医务人员的任务负荷评估工具.
