Sumario:The article investigates the relationships between performance fatigability (PF), time to task failure (TTF), neuromuscular responses, and perceived sensations of fatigue, pain, motivation, and focus during a sustained isometric forearm flexion task. Twelve male participants performed maximal voluntary isometric contractions (MVIC) before and after a fatiguing task, with various neuromuscular signals recorded. Results indicated significant decreases in MVIC and electromyographic mean power frequency (MPF) post-task, suggesting peripheral fatigue, while pain in forearm and hand muscles correlated with PF. The study highlights the complex interplay between physical performance and perceived sensations during fatigue-inducing activities.
